I worked in an independent study class, and later independently, to upgrade the hardware and software of a remotely controlled robot that can carry a standard 4'x4' or 4'x8' platform in any direction on stage rather than on a preditermined track.  In a class of 2 other students, my contribution was a substantial upgrade of the software of the computer program that took in the user's inputs from an Xbox 360 controller and the on-board Arduino that handled the wirelessly sent commands.  I also helped with installing the new hardware and rewiring the robot at the end of the semester.
